comparison with AlphaFS

Hi!

First I like to thank you, that you offer your very good work too us!

I like to start a file system related project for Windows PowerShell.
(A robocopy clone, NTFS editing and other...)
So I looked around for .NET libraries.
My 2 favorites are AlphaFS and your QuickIO.NET.
Do you have experience with AlphaFS? https://github.com/alphaleonis/AlphaFS

Can you tell us a speed benchmark between AlphaFS and QuickIO.NET?
Does exist a feature comparison between AlphaFS and QuickIO.NET?
I need a good ACL / SACL support, to read and set permissions, does QuickIO.NET support it?

Hi,

Just compare the two project descriptions, then you would see different goals.
What is now more suitable for you, I dont know ;)

While AlphaFS is focussed on NTFS and wide functional ranges, QuickIO.NET is focused on performance and a perfect side by side usage with System.IO.
Two complete different goals...
